The lenses are designed to allow a certain amount of light through to your eyes. Some lenses are better suited to bright sunny conditions and some are best suited to cloudy or overcast days. The amount of light that is passed through the lens to your eyes is measured in 'VLT' (Visual Light Transmission). The higher the number the more light is allowed through the lens, whereas a lens with a lower number allows less light through. This means that for bright sunny days you want a lens with a low % VLT and for a cloudy / overcast day you'd choose a lens with a high % VLT. *All of our goggles offer a certain amount of venting and have had an anti-fog treatment applied to the lens. There is nothing quite as annoying when you are snowboarding or skiing and your goggles keep fogging. Although all of our goggles are designed not to fog, if you follow a few simple rules then you are more likely to have a fog free day –
